Cashmere Thoughts / For Tia / 19 October 2026

Bring the evening
together with us.

Tia, we’d love you to work alongside Jamie as lead event coordinator for the YDE Ethiopia film screening at EbonyLife Place, London — helping turn the plan into a well-run evening.

Booking cutoffWednesday 21 October
Social launch target30–31 October

This is a hands-on event production and project management role. We’d really like to work with you on it, but if that isn’t your bag, no worries at all. Let’s use the call to explore what feels right, your availability and the support you’d need.

The role we have in mind

Be the day-to-day point of contact for the client and coordinate the team alongside Jamie. Keep one clear plan of actions, owners and deadlines, follow up on decisions and flag anything that could hold us up.

  • Client & venue: keep communication moving and bring outstanding questions to Jamie for decisions.
  • Partnerships & amplification: bring in people and organisations who can help raise the event’s visibility through their networks, attendance and social channels. Potential contacts include people from the Ethiopian Embassy, Ethiopian Airlines (via Barker’s connection), Ethiopian influencers, Sable Labs, and Idris and Sabrina’s brand. Work with Jamie on introductions and agree how each can support the event.
  • Social rollout: bring together the assets, copy, approvals and posting schedule with the team.
  • Invitations: coordinate the guest list, invitation copy, RSVP process and reminders.
  • Event delivery: pull together the running order, venue and technical requirements, partner arrivals and guest welcome.

Working alongside Jamie

Jamie stays closely involved in the client relationship, creative direction and key decisions. You would help drive the day-to-day delivery, with spending, partner commitments and final communications agreed together before they go out.

We estimate around four full days’ work in total. Please let us know your fee for that scope and whether the estimate feels realistic. We’ll agree how the time is split across preparation and event delivery, including whether on-site support on 7 November is included.
